In relationship and compatibility astrology, look to the planet Venus for a peak into love, relationships, and harmony. The placement of Venus in your birth chart tells you how to approach love. Use it to look into the qualities that you value in a partner and how they'd pursue a match with you.
I'll go over the traits of each Venus Zodiac sign, how I think they'd be in a relationship, and how to use this knowledge to be a good partner for them.

The Moon is a powerful force, representing important aspects of our internal personality in astrology. When using it in compatibility, it shows a great deal about how to nurture the emotional needs of the Moon sign partner.
But, the Moon’s position in a House placement is equally meaningful. In the context of relationships, we'd be able to see where the traits of the Moon sign affect us the most. Then, we can infer how a relationship with that placement would be, including struggles or how to meet their emotional needs. If you'd like to compare these interpretations to your Moon Sign, I have an article titled "The Moon Zodiac Sign's Role in Astrological Compatibility". (Link coming once I update this article, but you can also use my search function to find it.) Moon Sign compatibility is an important part of a relationship's ecosystem. The Moon governs the emotional needs, the ability to nurture a relationship, mentality, intuition, and what's under the surface. When we put that in the context of relationships, it's the easiest way to tell what our partner requires to feel fulfilled. Each Moon Sign prefers a different way to reach this fulfillment. I'll cover each one based on my experiences as well as my favorite sources in astrology. Depending on what makes you feel content and comfortable in a relationship, you can find your most compatible Moon Sign here. Learn how to emotionally connect with your partner's Moon Sign below.
A Final Statement From SS-AstrologyRelationships are complicated, even without astrology in the mix. However, understanding the type of partner that matches your Moon Sign Compatibility helps you understand what's under the surface. By being mindful of the characteristics of your own Moon Sign and those of your partner, you can be better prepared to navigate the complexities of relationships. Please, take your partner's unique traits into account. Talking to them and being open will bring you a lot more clarity than I ever can. Thank you for reading.
We'll explore the fascinating nuances of a partner with the Moon in the First House. This is not a traditionally "romantic" placement, but I thoroughly believe that all traits affect one's habits in a relationship. Learn about the complexities of entering a relationship with this type of partner and how it could affect you. From the effects on the native's sense of identity, to how the Moon influences the relationships of those around them, we'll dive into the depths of the Moon's romantic influence on the First House. What Is the First House in Astrology? What Is the 1st House in Astrology? The 1st house in astrology is associated with the self, identity, and appearance. It is ruled by Aries and is the starting point of the zodiac wheel. It is essential in the birth chart for telling us about a person's personality and character. Ask yourself:
By studying the placement of the Moon in this house, we can gain a better understanding of how their "self" affects their emotional state. Then, we apply that to romance and relationships. What Does the First House Have to Do With Relationships? When I read a synastry chart, I like to focus on every aspect of the personality. Simply focusing on the "love" placements like Venus, Mars, or the Seventh house won't give you the full picture. People are complicated, and different pieces of their character affect relationships in many ways. Plus, I enjoy challenging myself. Disclaimer: Zodiac Signs, Aspects, Degrees, etc. Determine the "Health" of the Moon
How Does the First House Relate to the Moon Zodiac Sign? When I think of the Moon in the First House, my first thought is "comfort with a sense of self." They need to feel self-assured, and self-doubt is internally disastrous. It is possible for them to be competitive with a strong emphasis on emotions driving that nature. If they lose, it may affect them internally. Comfort With a Sense of Self Feeling insecure may be a trait of the Moon in the First House. Making them jealous or breeding self-doubt in their head throws them off balance. The Moon in the 1st House may tie their physical "look" or identity to their need to feel emotionally gratified. They tend to be more emotionally stable in monogamy and would not react well to cheating, open relationships, or having to compete with multiple partners. Romance and relationships for the native are based on trust, the comforting feeling of "being taken care of", and reassurance. To nurture their emotional state, be a solid force for them to lean on rather than someone who makes them second guess themselves. Synastry: How Does Your Personality Affect a Person's Moon Sign? When we're considering Synastry (your partner's moon sign in your 1st House,) First House Moon placements show sensitivity towards their partner's personality traits, which can in turn affect their emotions. They may also be highly intuitive and able to pick up on subtle cues in their partner's behavior or changes in character. Back to the native (birth chart) Moon in the First House A partner with this combination is more likely to take initiative when it comes to emotionally gratifying their partner, but reciprocation is necessary as to not upset the balance of their "sense of self". Overall, the Moon in the first house can indicate that the individual needs to feel emotionally connected and secure in order to feel satisfied in a romantic relationship. They may be highly intuitive and sensitive and need to be able to express their personality. Sensitivity, Intuition, and the Ability to "Feel" One's Character Is the First House Moon a Good Romantic Partner? There is a strong emphasis on emotional security and depth in their relationships. They are highly sensitive and intuitive when it comes to their looks and character. As a result, they may be overly sensitive to any perceived criticism or emotional distance from their partner. Don't drown them in shame or embarrassment. Let them be themselves unapologetically. At the same time, those with the Moon in the first house can be highly nurturing and devoted partners. Overall, those with the Moon in the first house are incredibly sensitive and romantic. They wear mentality, emotions, and creativity on their sleeve. This placement has the capacity to be emotionally supportive and understanding of their partner's quirks. Making you "look" good and nurturing what makes you unique emotionally gratifies them. If that's important to you, they're an excellent romantic partner to have. Take care of their creativity, "sense of self", and what makes them unique; and they will reward you. Thank you for reading!
9/11/2023 0 Comments The Wandering Moon in SagittariusA Need to Stay Positive and KnowledgeableThe Moon in Sagittarius placement expresses an emotional need for open-mindedness and exploring the world around them. Different ways of thinking, cultures, and anything outside of their "bubble" gives them a sense of gratification.
Are you ready to welcome me back? After a few years of life getting in the way, I'm happy to announce my return to Seraphic Seraphim Astrology. I know it's been a long wait, and I want to thank my readers for taking so much interest in this astro-blog. If you have any questions or concerns, please visit my contact form. I missed a lot of queries over the last 7 years, and I'd hate to have unfinished business. If you've been waiting for a reply, please reach out again in good faith. I've been inactive. Keep in mind that I'm no longer offering birth chart readings, but I am answering all questions. These views are from my Wordpress blog and this Weebly blog. Even though it's not a lot compared to other websites, I'm pretty proud of those views after being inactive for almost a decade with very few posts. I'm now publishing content more often. If you sign up to my newsletter, you'll get my astrology updates straight to your inbox. My goals are to create better quality posts for my readers, answer their questions, and get back in the saddle as an astro-blogger. Thanks again for your readership continued support. I'm looking forward to growing this blog and helping you learn more about the Zodiac, stars and planets, and how they affect our lives. Addressing the Elephant in the Room... How Hilarious Hate Comments Are.So, what inspired me to get back in the saddle was a particularly funny hate comment. I opened my old email and got blasted in the face by pure ego. Want to guess their Zodiac sign in the comments? After reading it and laughing, showing it to my partner and laughing again, we decided to check back in on this blog. To our surprise, it wasn't only pulling in one view a day. I feel flattered that at least one person enjoys my writing this much, not to mention tens of thousands of people. So, I revamped the theme, added a new post, and started scrolling comments. Surprise, surprise. The email hater was in my comments too, blasting away. Now, I have a new goal. I'll write more, and she can keep foaming at the mouth in my email like a rabid Rottweiler. On the Other Hand, Some Disturbed Me. While the one hater was funny to read, there was another that bothered me. It needs some context. TW: sexual assault mention. I rant for the next 200+ words, and I'm sorry about that. Scroll down to "What's Changing on Seraphic Seraphim Astrology?" if you don't want to read this part. I believe that a lot of people read about astrology for a sense of certainty and to feel like they're on the "right' path. A decent chunk of my readers worry, have anxiety or depression, are victims, or have dying or dead family members. Comfort and honesty was always my goal, even when I was a child creating this blog. Here's where the disturbance started: -> Random guy told me I was wrong. -> Commenter said I was not, and she compared my interpretation to her experience with being sexually assaulted. -> Random guy told her she was wrong too. So, here's what I take from that interaction. The "astrology community" has become so egotistical that they forgot what the fuck we're writing for. It's not about who's right or wrong, what "this" or "that" site said. Frankly, I don't care. I take my interpretations from personal experience and observation. As a matter of fact, most of my posts are about my or my partner's Natal Charts. On top of that, the majority of my interpretations come from Vedic, not Western, astrology. They're not going to line up with what you find on Google. Go read a book. But, that's not my point. My point is, it's about our readers. Whether we entertain, comfort, or motivate them; astrology is meant to be spiritual, is it not? So, why are we making it stressful?
Sorry for the rant. Back to the *good vibes* What's Changing on Seraphic Seraphim Astrology? This blog needs a reboot. Expect a redesign (already done as of this post!), more original content, easier readability, and more. I also want to read through my emails and comments, answer any recent inquiries, and reintroduce my old readers to the new and improved SS-Astrology. This is going to take a while. Things won't change overnight. But, I am dedicating myself to getting this website back up and running. It's received so much love, how could I not? Want to welcome me back? 3/11/2023 0 Comments The Planet Mars in Retrograde 2023Updated as of November 2023Mars in retrograde brings strength and courage to confront our fears and secrets. It is a time of self-growth and transformation, of inner strength and power. However, instead of focusing on things that currently bring fear; it's time to take a step back. What's happened in the past that's long since been forgotten? That's where the focus of the retrograding Mars shines. There is an urge to discover the truth, even if it is uncomfortable. With its retrograde state, Mars brings the opportunity for a valuable transformation. For example:
Mars can be beneficial for those wanting to start a new career or business, as long as the planning is done beforehand. This is a time to focus on what matters and bring it to the light. It is also a time to connect or reconnect to those with whom we are close, as this will bring clarity and understanding. During this time, it is important to be mindful of our actions and thoughts, as they may have a greater impact than usual. The planet Mars encourages us to create the life we want and be honest with ourselves and with others. The active planet encourages us to reflect on our inaction in the past, and figure out how to resolve our old issues. The Retrogading Influence on Self-ReflectionDuring the retrograde, it's important to be mindful of our actions and thoughts, as they may have a greater impact than usual. An outcome will be more "set in stone". The planet Mars encourages us to create the life we want and be honest with ourselves and with others. When Is the Next Mars in Retrograde? There is some misinformation about Mars' next chance to enter a retrograde period. I previously said that it was on October 23rd, but double-checking other sources says otherwise. The next Retrograde Mars will be December 6th, 2024 in Leo. Since we're talking about revisiting, going backwards, etc., it's funny that I got the urge to revamp this blog. I cleaned it up, made it more readable, and then checked my drafts. What was in it? The title "Retrograde - Mars in Scorpio" written years ago during my first time acknowledging its existence. I read my draft and kept most of the information in this blog post. However, I took out the bits about Scorpio because Mars won't retrograde in that sign for about a decade. How to Take Advantage of the Retrograde: The Proactive ApproachThe retrograde is a powerful time to use the energy of the planets. Because Mars is about drive, force, and activity; it may be time to look backwards to see what can be improved. Use the retrograde to your advantage, and take a proactive approach towards:
The first step is to acknowledge the retrograde and its influence on your life. Notice how it affects you, and be aware of any changes or shifts in your life. Then, figure out how you can make the best of it. Next, use the time to reflect and take stock of your life. Make a list of areas in your life that you would like to improve and areas that may need more attention. This is a great time to take a look at your past relationships, both personal and professional, and ask yourself if it's time to reintroduce yourself. Is the Mars in retrograde affecting you emotionally? Take some time for yourself to process and work through any challenging emotions that may arise. Finally, use the retrograde to create positive shifts and make good changes. Revamp your goals and start taking the necessary steps to achieve them. While it may not be a good time to start a new project, it's the perfect time to take a peak in the attic to see what's been forgotten. The retrograde can be a powerful time for personal growth and transformation, but it's important to be mindful of how it is influencing your life. With a proactive approach and some self-care, you can take advantage of the retrograde and make meaningful changes. Thank you for reading! It's good to be back in the saddle again. Do you have any questions? I'm now answering fanmail in my contact form. Ask away, and it'll be posted with my answer.
Ask Me About Midheaven CompatibilitySynastry
Synastry is the combination of two birth times and the measurement of their compatibility. It represents the relationship between two people. By measuring the interactions of the planets, a Synastry chart develops and may be interpreted similarly to a Birth Chart. A very basic term for Synastry in astrology, usually used by the beginners, is compatibility.
Synastry is the more complex form of compatibility. Instead of comparing only the Sun Signs, Synastry combines every astrological aspect in the two Birth Charts. Typically, when combining the aspects of a romantic couple, the best planets to look at are the Sun, Moon, Venus, and Mars; however, a relationship does not only consist of matching personalities, egos, attraction, and sex. Certain locations throughout the lifetime must also match, lest separation ensue, and this is where angles make their appearance in Synastry. Ascendant Compatibility
The Ascendant (1st House, Rising) plays an enormous role in attraction and the development of each individual identity. It makes or breaks a relationship because it represents the life paths of each individual native. If the life paths differ too much, the compatibility for the relationship may be deemed unhealthy. When the personal planets are in good aspect to the partner's Rising Sign, physical attraction ensues. The personal planets also aid the identity of the partner, giving free-flowing lessons or challenges, depending on the aspects.
Parents, the Rising Sign, and Compatibility
Other important Synastry aspects include the parents, friendships, acquaintances, and business partners. The parents aid in the development of the identity through Synastry aspects, just as romantic partners do. Positive aspects toward the Rising Sign create positive identity development, and negative aspects may hinder the growth of the Rising native.
Midheaven Synastry
The compatibility of the Midheaven differs somewhat from that of the Ascendant; although, the similarities make it almost as important in compatibility. Instead of similarities in identity, the presence of the Midheaven in Synastry tells the life paths of each individual Birth Chart and how they come together throughout time. In Synastry, the reputation of the relationship can be found; also, the development of each career, individual reputations, and whether one partner helps or hinders the future development of the other are also found.
Fortunate planets aspected positively toward the Midheaven represent the partner's helping hand in the career and reputation. Good aspects toward the Midheaven make your partner "look good", and the planet native also helps the Midheaven native gain recognition and succeed. Parents, the Midheaven, and Compatibility
The parental aspects toward the Midheaven play a larger role in the career than partnerships.Usually, the success of the Midheaven is a result of the father or masculine parental figure, and this study may be deepened by comparing the two Birth Charts of the father and child. If the Midheaven is in good aspect to the father's planets, especially Jupiter, the Sun, or the Moon, then the father figure is encouraging. If the Midheaven shows negative aspects to the father's planets, the masculine parental figure hinders the growth of the career through force, violence, or other hindering aspects.
Ask How the Sagittarius Moon Affects You.
The Sagittarius Full Moon brings time for inner exploration and emotional connection through new experiences. Sagittarius makes this Full Moon an excellent time for disconnections alongside deeper awareness. This is a time for resolution; the facts acquired during the Gemini Full Moon acquire a deeper, more philosophical meaning. The conclusion of this month's moon transits end in idealist thoughts.
The Sagittarius Full Moon brings emotional clarity through ideas; its thoughtful breakthrough of the emotional barrier helps with self awareness. Emotions are dimmed, and honesty toward the self should be taken advantage of. The need for independence in family settings may bring conflict, especially in closed areas.
In astrology, the Pisces Rising exhibits spiritual, thoughtful, and a dreamy identity. The identity of the 1st House Piscean is split in two; one foot develops in the physical world, and the other foot develops spiritual, empathetic qualities used to connect to others. The true development of the Pisces Rising occurs in silent surroundings. This placement makes the dreams and imagination of the native most apparent to others. There is also a lack of boundaries due to the Pisces sign traits, so people with a Pisces Rising often find themselves being approached by others at random. The Pisces Rising Sign, alongside the Aries Rising, is one of the least common Rising Signs. This is because the Pisces Rising is one of the fastest moving points on the horizon, making it a less common point for babies to be born. People born during the Pisces Rising have one traditional chart ruler (Jupiter) as well as one modern chart ruler (Neptune). The positions of each chart ruler determine the growth of the Pisces Rising identity.
The Pisces Rising AppearancePeople with Pisces Risings inherit noticeable, sleepy eyes. The faces of those with these Rising Signs may be littered with freckles, beauty marks, or other defining marks. Due to escapism, these natives may noticeably eat a lot and indulge in fantasies. The true appearance of the Pisces Rising exhibits droopy or tired eyes. They are typically short with smaller limbs. To potential mates, it's apparent that the Pisces Rising craves stability. In relationships, they show outward loyalty and sensitivity toward their partner. The Pisces Rising relies on their partner, but their partner may also rely on them. The Pisces Rising DevelopmentA Pisces Rising native hopes to develop through sacrificial change of themselves and those around them. They will develop through sacrifice and sacrifices. The Pisces Rising experiences multiple stages of development; it's apparent that, through their own development, they need to learn how to serve those around them or suffer loneliness. The true development of the Pisces Rising Sign will be found in the House that the planet Jupiter occupies. The Pisces Rising native proceeds through life with little sense of direction. Instead, they take what they get, and they accept more than they understand. The Pisces Rising possesses an open mind; Pisces accepts those around them for the flaws they exhibit. Acquaintances of the Pisces Rising feel accepted from the start. These natives should avoid substance at all cost. There's a high potential for drug or alcohol abuse, and the Pisces Rising has the tendency to rely too heavily on others. Apparent co-dependency attracts users, people who potentially take advantage of the Pisces Rising native. Be wary of leeches if you posses this placement. Pisces Rising Traits
