Horary astrology comes from the belief that the exact moment an astrologer receives a question, the planets create an answer. The answer to the question is born at the exact same time that the question is asked, and it may be found in the Horoscope.
The Horary Chart cannot be interpreted equally to a Natal Chart. It's unwise for the astrologer to look in depth; only look for the answers, and avoid extra information. For this reason, Horary Charts are often answered as "yes" or "no"; although it's possible to find deeper meaning. Other small pieces of information- the intentions of those involved in the question, different options and paths to take, etc- may also be sought out in the reading.

30/4/2016 0 Comments Horary Housing SystemAssigning a House to the querent is simple. First, understand the subject of the question, and assign that subject to a non-specific adjective or noun. More than likely, that adjective or noun will match one of the overall subjects of the Houses. Once a clear understanding of the subject of the querent is found, examine all placements in and around that House. For example, someone asks if their partner is cheating. Basic astrology tells us that the ruler of relationships and partnerships is the 7th House. In the 7th House are a slew of unfortunate planets, and even Venus isn't looking very good. The obvious answer would be a "yes." This all boils down to basic rulership. If you understand what the Houses rule, then you understand how to connect the Houses to a question. |
